Admission...

Ok I admit it!  I am in love with the whole royal story!  I loved hearing and watching and reading about Princess Dianna and I have followed all the details up to William and Kates wedding.  And YES!   I stayed up all night watching the ceremony live with all the other crazies out there too!  I just couldn't wait to see the dress and the whole thing live and uninterupted.  An added bonus is that everyone in my WHOLE house was alseep and didn't even bug me once for a drink or something to eat or that they were bored LOL!  It was fabulous!  Somehow I felt like I was a part of history too!  Lame I know, but we all have to admit we are dorks sometime right?  I loved her dress by the way. It was perfect!

Boys and Baseball...it's a hit!

Baseball season is in full swing (no pun intended...LOL!) at our house!  Dallin is playing machine pitch, Alex is in Tea Ball. Both those teams are in leagues I might add, not just the Country Rec programs, so they each have two practices a week and Dallin has two games a week on top of that. Alex only plays on Wednesdays, so that's my "lazy" day when I'm off work so that I can make it to his game and Dallin's practice and try and give Dustin a break so that he can go play on his team. We are busy, busy, busy trying to keep all the games and practices and end of year activities straight, but somehow we are surviving.  It is so fun to watch the boys play!  They are loving it!

Dallin is a great hitter!  He gets right up there and smacks it!
Dallin did great playing shortstop!  He was always ready to catch the ball and get it to first base!

 Dallin smakin' it out there!
Dallin on first base...Dustin is a trooper!  He is out there at every practice and game coaching the kids and standing in the sun after a long day at work.  I secretly know he loves it though so I don't feel too bad...LOL!
Alex practicing with the tee...look at that stance!  He never misses!
Not to many games into the season Alex's coach decided he didn't need the "T" anymore and just started pitching to him.  He said he's a natural!  Alex loves to play!  He was born to play ball just like his Dad.
Alex is very intense on the field.  Usually plays first base...has a great arm!
While the boys were playing ball...this is what the little guys were up to!  Derrick masters the monkey bars and anything else he could hand upside-down from.  We love out monkey!  He was a sport keeping an eye on Zeke for me so I could watch the games!
I had to throw Zeke's "pouty face" in...this is what he looked like most of the time becuase he was so frustrated he couldn't do all the things Derrick was doing! LOL!
Finally a SMILE!  When I would get a sec to run over to the playground and help him up Zeke was all smiles and very proud.  Look at those cute short legs!
We came home from one practice to find...in Derrick's words, "Pooh all over the grass!"  Dustin had the lawn ariated one afternoon...Alex thought, "Diesel and Steall ate too much dog food!"  It was hilarious!  They tried to walk on the grass and were very worried about how they were going to practice playing catch and try to keep all the poops from getting on their shoes!
I have to hand it to Dustin for being such a great Dad!  He is out there every spare sec working with one kid or another trying to help them be the best they can be.  He plays catch until he can't throw anymore and is so good to teach them all the things they need to know. He even takes all four of them on most nights while I am at work!  Thanks Dusty for taking care of our boys and being such a good Dad!

Easter 2011 at Grandma Herb's!

We had a super fun Easter this year!  We planned a long weekend and Grandma and Grandpa Herb's house with nothing on the agenda but having fun, eating of coarse and just visiting.  It was great!  We dyed Easter eggs...

It's funny to see each kids reaction to the project...Dallin takes is very seriously, Alex got board quick and kept pulling them out too soon.  Derrick was content to soak them all and watch them turn colors.  Zeke had a mess all over, but loved every minuet of it!
The Easter Bunny Came and left mess everywhere!  It was fabulous!
We packed everyone up including Grandma and Grandpa and headed to the new rec center by their house to go swimming.  We had tons and tons of fun!  I am only posting the cute pictures of the kids at the pool, but I have tons of black male pictures on my hard drive of all of us classy adults going down the water-slide!  It was a hoot!
Alex getting soaked!  That kid is a fish!
Derrick is always full of life!
Zeke was a little unsure at first, but when he finally warmed up to the idea that Nemo wouldn't bite he had a blast...he bawled when we told him it was time to go.  He's getting so big!  Hard to believe he'll be three soon.

End Of Year School Pictures

We made it through another year of school!  I can't believe how much the boys have grown this year...especially Dallin!  He is growing like a weed!  New clothes and shoes every month it seems like!  Funny how they change after a year of school...it's like they look a little smarter!
