I love to see the Temple! We went there today!

I have wanted a neat temple picture in my house for a while.  I havne't  been able to find on of the St. George Temple that suited my fancy, so after a little inspiration from a print that Holly bought at Krumpets and a trip to take one of my own and a LOT of photoshopping later...these were the results!

I love this picture!  I love the blossoms on the trees!  It's spring...my favorite!
Believe it or not this is not posed!  I told the boys to stand there for a second while I walked off the path to take some pics with the blossoms and came back to find this!  Soooo cute!  I wish I had Dallin in there too, but he was at school.  I thought I was taking my life into my hand with the three little guys, but they did great!  They were reverent and respectful and everything!  Derrick kept asking what windown he was supposed to look into to see Jesus.  So cute!
This is the one I am framing!  Turned out ok I think! Perfect time to hang it up too!  Right before Conference this weekend!  I am very excited!  I love spring...love Conference time...Love to see the Temple!

The latest project...

I know I don't say it enough and I totally take for granted Dustin's ability to build exactly what I want, so I am saying it again...I LOVE WHAT THAT GUY CAN DO!!!  I have been struggling with the HUGE wall over my cabinets in the kitchen... tons of space, not enough decorations LOL!  So at work I was telling the ladies there that I needed some texture and one of them said she had an old bard in her back yard that was sitting there in a pile and I could feel free to come and get whatever wood I wanted.  Well that was code for Dustin could drive out there upon my request and dig though a huge pile of wood that looked not so good with nails sticking out in every direction, in the cold with the boys and get what he thought he needed to make me happy....and he did!  A few saturdays later while I was at work this is what he was doing at home!  I love it!  I have always beena country girl and I love the texture and all the possibilites this opens up for decorating!  He is my hero!  I slipped up and said, "well now you know we have to paint the cupboards and get new countertops..." and he said, "I knew you were going to say that!" I someday far into the future after we have the back yard in and a hundred other projectcs checked off the list I'll post anouther picture of the finished kitchen!  ...Oh who am I kidding...my kitchen is always a work in progress!  It'll never be done!  To many things to try out! LOL!

It's a GiRl!!!....and a BoY!!!

Ha Ha!  Had ya going' there for a minuet didn't I?  Well we do have some new babies in the house.  Cody needed some help with his puppies so we said we could take them.  Meet "Diesel" and "Stella".
They are darling!  VERY tiny and full of personality!   They could be Cloey's pupp's and would be if she would let them.  She's not quite sure what to think yet.  They want to jump all over her and play and play, but she's not having any of it!  LOL!
Kisses!  They love to give kisses!  They'll lick your brains right out of your nose if you'll let them.
Stella is the sleeper and Diesel is content to run wild.  Stella is littler that he is, but can definently hold her own when they're goofing around.  She growls and barks and jumps all over him.  So funny!

Spring!!!

We sense it is officially "Spring Break" for the kids down here and St. George has been pleasantly warm and beautiful I can post about some of my favorite "Spring Things" and what we've been up too!.

Frist things first...Cadburry Mini Eggs!  My favorite candy in the world and there are out in the stores and I am in heaven!!!  I love these!  I could eat a whol bag by myself in an hour!  So yummy!  My mom says it's sack religious to eat them before April, but I don't care...I've been eating them sense the end of January!  LOL!  Love them!
Warm weather!  Although I can't complain too much about the weather here, it has been an unusually long winter and cold enough that the kiddos didn't want to go out and play.  We decided to test out fate the other day and go on a walk/bike ride down by the river.   The kids had a blast...the mom's had a little less fun.  We were outnumbered 9 to 2 and the story ended with me finally getting fed up enough to call Dustin and have him drive down in the truck load up all the bikes and kids and wagons and take them all home while Kristi and I walked the rest of the way in peace trying to gain some composure.  Yes...we stopped for a Coke on the way.  It was a need at that point!  LOL!  Fun memories.
Dustin and the boys are back to working on the back yard.  The tamp' is going in the hole this year for sure.  He had them all diggin' in the dirt last night trying to get it deep enough and just right.  I love that Dustin can do all the handyman things around here to keep everyone happy and entertained!  What would we do without him!
...Speaking of handyman---Here is the latest cute thing out of the shop!  I am still in love witht he letters Dustin has been kicking out.  Does this say spring or what?!?  If you know me you know I love chicks in the spring time!  Soooo cute!
